Nailpassion nostalgia: Susan Oliver

To many, Susan Oliver was the green woman who appeared in an early Star Trek episode and whose picture was shown at the end of many programs.

To the nail fans of the world she was probably the first time many had seen very long nails on a woman even if she was green.

Susan Oliver was only 58 when she died from cancer in 1990, but she was more than an actress; she was a director and had directed two episodes of M*A*S*H amongst other programs and she was also a qualified pilot.

  1. Susan Oliver was also one of the most feminine actresses I have ever seen as well. Very womanly in her demeanor with a gentle yet strong, femininity that shone through every character she portrayed. The only actress that exudes such womanliness and immediately comes to mind, to me, right now is Patricia Clarkson. I am not denying sensuality almost all actresses have it: womanliness is more rare quality and does not require much if any skin.
